Senior Software Engineer
Essential Functions
- Programs within multiple complex OLTP systems based on Linux / JAVA environment
- Ensures the efficient use of core services, packages, and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in product teams
- Designs security protocols, including encryption or password protection, and ensures that they are appropriately applied to systems
- Provides leadership direction to product teams in latest technology, standards and processes
- Superior problem-solving skills and browser debugging capabilities
- Flexible and self-driven with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Excellent knowledge of the Java development language preferred
- Strong knowledge of agile development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including documentation
Experience & Qualifications
- Bsc/Msc degree in IT, Computer Science/Engineering or related
- Minimum 3 years of working experience
- Exposure to banking domain will be an advantage
